Day 10

I have hit double digits!

It is a gorgeous day outside! I left early this morning to go with Jenn 'shopping' so she could see some of the stuff, and of course spend some money. See, the way I figure, if I get on the phone with her, I am always looking at ebay or amazon or other shopping websites, so it is only fair that I take her somewhere so she can enjoy what she puts me through! lol

I took a bunch of pictures for her son Kaiden as well. He loves airplanes and helicopters, so you know what I captured. We went to gamestop and I took care of a few things I needed to, went to the PX and I ended up spending some more money, although I can't complain because I made a point between the last pay check and this one to only have 11 transactions. LOL

I came home and called Jodi to see if she was home... she had me pick her up something while I was out, and then I hopped on my bike and went to her place! Going down the hill was pretty interesting... there is a radar sign there now, and so as I flew down, it registered that I was doing 27 mph! w00t! I wonder if an MP was there, if they would have given me a ticket for going 7 miles over the speed limit? Haha! Everyone was outside at Jodi's. Jodi, Bella, Aurora, Kelly, Grace, Audrey, Kim and Bailey. I sat down, pulled my sleeves up, pulled my capri's up and proceeded to hang out. I worked a bit on my 550 cord thingy, got a text saying I wasn't going to have to fix a friends laptop today... basically just enjoyed the sun and hung out.

Well, after doing that for a while, I could tell I was getting baked, so I started to get ready to leave, only to remember that Jodi and Jen had a box that was going to the 'goodwill'. I went through it, scrounged a black hoodie and three books. ;)  But being on my bike I wasn't sure how I was going to get it all home. Jodi offered me the use of a backpack so I said Sure. Little did I know that she was going to bring me out a flippin' PINK under armor backpack!! Gah! Imagine me, riding my yellow and black bike, wearing a blue helmet and a yellow reflective belt, jean capri's and a black t-shirt with a stinking PINK backpack! Haha! But beggars can't be choosers, so I accepted with very little stink and thanked Jodi very much. I finally left and headed home! Of course I walked up the hill. I am not crazy enough to try it again yet! My knee is actually feeling really good today so I don't want to mess things up.

Got home to find the son waiting patiently for permission to eat my Subway cookies... punk. I shared though. Gave him ONE. lol I also turned on the A/C because it was crazy hot in my house.

And so now I am home. I am going to keep working on my 550 cord thingy, probably out on the deck. My shoulders are already a little bit colored so that's alright. I am not looking to get burnt to a crisp though. Not sure what I am going to make for dinner, but I know I want some rice and sofrito!

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!
